• CT scan – detects calcium deposits in coronary arteries. The presence of calcium deposits correlates directly to coronary plaque and risk of coronary disease.

Stroke Select – $100
Valued at $1,500
Ages: Varies, but recommended as a follow up screening for participants with abnormal results from the Heart Basic or Heart Select screenings.
Includes:
• Carotid ultrasound – painless test that uses high-frequency sound waves to create pictures of the insides of the two carotid arteries. A carotid artery is on each side of your neck. Blockage in these arteries greatly increases your risk for a stroke.

1. Specific health criteria apply for all screenings. Participants will be asked qualifying information during registration.
2. Screening packages are available Monday through Friday at Baptist Medical Center by appointment.
3. All screenings are evaluated by nurses and physicians on staff at Baptist.
4. All reports may be sent to you and the physician of your choice.
5. Payment is through cash or check only. No debit/credit cards.
6. Insurance is not filed for these screening packages.
