William K. Harper, MD

Dr. Harper earned both his undergraduate degree and his medical degree at the University of Mississippi. He completed his internship and residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, and his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.

He has served as Chief of Cardiology at Martin Army Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia and as Clinical Assistant, Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Harper is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Cardiovascular Disease.

He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He is also a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Heart Association and the American Medical Association.

He and his wife reside in Jackson and have four children.
